General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is not recommended to fly immediately after a skull fracture. In general, it takes about 4-6 weeks for fractures to heal. It is always best to consult with your treating doctor to determine if it is safe to fly and obtain clearance or if more time is needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks.
