How Long Should Acnestar Pills Be Taken For Facial Acne?

Recently I started my acne treatment with one dermatologist here. They give me acne star 20 for 10 days and one lotion trumist and colndisil gel which I have use at night. My que is they stop giving me that acme star so whether it is proper to stop it? And ya I still have 2 to 3 acne on skin

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain, Acnestar contains active ingredient Isotretinin that is a retinoid and is used to treat acne and trumist lotion is a nourishing lotion and clindasol is an antibiotic cream containing Clindamycin..
In case if you are advised to stop taking Acnestar it is appropriate as it is generally given if there is severe acne problem that is not resolving with topical medications and long term use can cause side effects like very dry skin..
Therefore as you are left with just 2 to 3 acne, you need not to worry and continue using the topical cream Clindasol and also trumist lotion..
You can also start using benzoyl peroxide containing cleanser..
Add more of green leafy vegetables and fruits in diet..
You can also start exfoliating your skin twice a week to remove dead skin and unclog the pores..
Use non comedogenic sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
