Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain I would like to inform you that Btenovate C cream is a steroid based cream containing Betamethasone and Clioquinol..

And the symptoms of redness ,kind of rashes and pimples are due to side effects of steroid cream that you used for a long duration..

Steroid creams initially shows wonderful effects on face by reducing pigmentation and brightening the face..
But long term use has severe side effects like skin thinning, pimples, inflammation, rashes, itching, excess hairgrowth and dilated veins under the skin..

Also on long term use the skin becomes addicted or dependant on steroids and once the use is suddenly stopped, there are withdrawal side effects and it is the same thing that you are facing now that is increased pigmentation, rashes, swelling, redness etc..

I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist who can evaluate you clinically and also advise you a low potency steroid cream that has to be used for a week regularly and then gradually tapering down the use and then will be stopped gradually..

It will help in preventing side effects of sudden withdrawal..

As of now you can take anti histamine like levocetrizine to reduce redness..
Do cool compresses on face and wash face with cool water..
You can apply cooled aloevera gel on face to soothe the skin..
Wash your face with Salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing facewash.
You can also use benzoyl peroxide cleansers and Clindamycin gel over pimples..
Exfoliate your skin weekly..
Take multivitamin supplements..
Drink plenty of water and limit sun exposure..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
