Hi, I have 5 yrs son and 7months daughter. I would like to undergo tubectomy now as we are not interested for further children. Kindly suggest how long do I need to take rest after the surgery. As I am breast feeding her, how long do I need to rest.can the surgery be done in periods?
Yes, it should be done within 3 to 5 days of your periods. You can continue to breast feed immediately after surgery. Take rest for 15 days or to a maximum of one month if you are not comfortable.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
