How Long Should I Wait To Sleep After Hitting The Head?

I hit my head an hour ago, on a sharphpoint.... it has a huge knot on it, I put ice on it.. and I'm just laying down. My father told me I have a few bloo drops. How long should I wait to go to bed? I've already waited 25mins. Can I die from this (if I go to bed?)

Hi, Mostly you will be fine, you can sleep. there is no issue with that, If you are having any kind of numbness, weakness in any of the arms or legs, having problem with vision, feeling dizzy, had vomiting, your age if more than 65, if you are having any bleeding problem or you are taking medication like ecosprin, clopilet, or warfarin then it will be better that you do a CT scan of the brain. Or else if you are healthy person just got hit in the head at home. you should be doing fine.
