Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your query Melamet cream contains 3 main ingredients namely:
Tretinoin+Hydroquinone and Mometasone Furoate..
Initial use of the steroid based cream can help in improving the skin complexion but long term use has deleterious side effects like skin thinning, pimples, inflammation, rashes, itching, excess hairgrowth and dilated veins under the skin..
Another drawback is that once you stop using the cream there can be a relapse of the darkening of the skin..

So long term use of such creams is not advisable as in long run the damages are higher then the benefits..

Although other creams that are steroid free can have a slower effect but will not cause side effects and will be beneficial if used in long run..

I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be done..
He can advise you safer depigmentation formulas like facewash containing Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid like AHA glow, Melaglow etc..
You can also be advised to apply creams containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin..
Vitamin E and C containing creams are also helpful..
Creams with Licorice and grapeseed extract also works well..
You can also exfoliate your skin twice a week.
Treatments like Photofacial, and chemical peeling can also be advised..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
