Hello,

Loin pain has multiple reasons which need proper evaluation and testing for a diagnosis, however from the medicines you have been prescribed, it looks like you are suffering from some kind of gastrointestinal upset. Nexpro Rd 40 is a proton pump inhibitor which is used to lower acidity of gastrointestinal tract. It helps in healing peptic ulcers which causes pain in the epigastric (stomach) region, or nearby region like flank.

Pankreoflat is another medication which is used for indigestion, bloating and any problem with pancreas. It contain pancreatic enzymes which helps in digestion. Being a doctor it looks like your pain is because of an ulcer in your stomach for which we use medication like Nexpro Rd, The usual length of prescription for Nexpro Rd is about 2 weeks.

However as mentioned earlier Pankreoflat is usually used for chronic pancreatitis, I would suggest not to use Pankreoflat unless you have a problem in your pancreas. At last I would recommend you to keep in touch with your doctor for discontinuation of your medications as he may know better about your condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
