How Long Should Valparin Chrono Be Taken By A 12-year-old To Avoid Seizures?
My son is 12 years old, affected by seizures 2 times within 4 years He is continuously taking valparin chrono 300 & fresium 5mg, how long to take medicine and another one doctor advised stopping fresium 5 mg, past 1 week. No side effects till now. Now only take valparin chrono 300 twice a day after meals. EEG took 6 months intervals, the report is normal. Dr.pl. advice how long to take the medicine.
Continue the medicine for two to three years until the seizure is controlled and then taper the dose gradually with the advice of your pediatrician or neurologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
