How Long Should Anti Seizure Medications Be Taken Post Hematologic Stroke?
female,age 87,second hemologic stroke,same area as first(occipital),3 years ago. Results of first left side vision deficit . Results of second general vision clarity . Second stroke Jan. 18,2016. Was on Coumadin, INR in consistant 2.5 range. Since second stroke off Coumadin and baby aspirin. Taking Seppra anti-convulsive 3 250mg twice daily. General health good. thick blood . thin blood ???. Where do we go from here? Considering natural foods as an option for blood control. Q: How long to stay on anti-seizure? Good luck to in your profession. Joe kern, IBM retired. YYYY@YYYY

I really appreciate your concern, if the seizure is due to brain lesion then anti-convulsion therapy need to be taken for long time, if this is the epileptic convulsion then one has to take the medicine for life, hope this information helps.
