I advise you to consult your treating physician for further evaluation like certain lab tests: repeat kidney function tests, fasting blood glucose level, HbA1c level, 24 hrs urine protein, creatinine clearance tests, etc.
Meanwhile continue taking the prescribed medications for diabetes. Hope this will help.

How Long Should Diabetes Medication Be Taken?
Dear Mohiuddin, Hi & Welcome. You need to take these medications for life long. Based on the history given you seem to be having some problem with your kidney as reflected in the form of slightly high serum creatinine level. Nephropathy (kidney injury) is an important complication of uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
