How Long Should I Take Atenolol Medicine To Reduce High BP?

I went to the Dr this morning as I had left my BP meds in my hotel room and have been without for aprox 1 week. My readings were high (175/111) He gave me my medsicine (Atennalol 50mg). How long should it take before my blood pressure comes back down?

Hello.In two-three days will reduce his high blood pressure.Remember to take your medication every day,person with high blood presssure has to take medication for longlife.
