Hii , Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
course of treatment and medicine depends both upon severity of illness and Healing of your intestinal linings As colitis may be due to infections & self limiting and may be caused by an autoimmune reaction and required long term treatment and Follow up
infectious colitis is usually self limiting and gets better with medicine prescribed but if it is not getting better within 2-3 months than you should get it evaluated further to rule out underlying medical condition
i would strongly suggest you to see Your Gastroenterologist to get it further evaluated
I hope it help Thanks & Get well Soon
