Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Harshita's Response
Hi,
First of all the treatment of PCOD should be continued till 6 months. As you know with that medication we cannot completely cure the disease but we can reduce the occurrence of some symptoms like acne, irregular periods , mood swings and even fertility issues. So to avoid all those you should definitely take the prescribed medicine whatever you doctor have given you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Harshita,
