General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It looks like your son is suffering from tuberculosis of the skin and neck. The treating doctor has prescribed Macox which is an anti-tubercular medication.

You should get Mantoux Skin(TSD/PPD) test done. The duration of the treatment will depend upon the report of the test, the severity of infection/discomfort & the response of the patient to the medication being given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
