How Long Should One Wait To Floss After Rhinoplasty?
When can I floss my teeth after rhinoplasty? What if the teeth to be flossed housed in the maxilla have crowns with long roots that need flossing around the top of the crown and up into the root of the tooth that extends almost up to the nose and usually muscles on the cheeks next to the nose tend to tense up during this flossing? Would this type of flossing need to be discontinued immediately after rhinoplasty and if so, for how long?
As per your query tnohere is harm in flossing and brushing the teeth after rhinoplasty and you can very well do it to maintain your oral hygiene..
Flossing does not effect the healing in case of rhinoplasty and only care which should be taken is to be gentle while doing ..
In case if you have some pain and discomfort while flossing or difficulty or pain in opening the mouth when the muscle stretches you can wait till the initial healing is complete which can take form 8 to 15 days..
But mostly flossing has not bad effect on healing after rhinoplasty..
Hope this information helps..
