How Long Should Restricted Diet Be Followed Post Diagnosis Of Typhoid?
Sir I had been diagnosed with early symptoms of typhoid and then my treatment started and I recovered with 7 days. I am currently going through a restricted diet plan. I wanted to know about the duration for which i need to take precaution on my diet.
You must have at least 4-6 weeks of dietary restrictions following recovery.
A restricted diet plan is an important part of the treatment for typhoid. Dietary precautions and treatment are a must to treat the condition as well as prevent a relapse. Typhoid results in gastrointestinal conditions and so it is important to follow a diet that contains foods that are easy to digest. It may take 4-6 weeks for the affected organs to recover from the effects of the disease caused by Typhoid.
Hope to have clarified your doubt.
