How Long Should The Telma 40 Be Given After Going Through Bypass Surgery?
hello doctor, telma40 is prescribed for my neighbour who is around 73 years old. 3 months back he underwent bypass surgery. How long this medicine to be continued. Similarly Dytor 10 mg was also prescribed for him. I understand from the physician that it is given for regulation his urin output. But his legs (foot) are just have swelling all the time. Kindly advice. I shall tell him.
Telma and Dytor are medicines given for high blood pressure and heart failure. These may not be corrected by coronary bypass surgery alone. If the swelling remains in spite of these medicines, he needs to consult a doctor and have his present condition reassessed and more effectively treated.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
