How Long Syphilis Virus Can Active In Body ?

6 months before , my TPHA test result Positive, so how long , syphilis virus or antibiotics can active in my body ? However I have treatment 6 months before, BENZATHINE PENICILLIN 1.2 million / units per week for 6 weeks. Please advise me that should I test again of TPHA? If its again positive what I do next?

Thanks for the query

YOu are in correct line of treatment for syphillis. Abstain from unsafe sex and also practice clean hygiene. You can get yourself tested again after 6 months. Watch out for fever and also get a ECHO and a chest x ray done
