How Long The Anti Pyretic Medication Along With Antibiotics Should Be Given For The Typhoid?

Hi,
My daughter (5 Yr ) has been diagnosed with Thypoid. There had been confusing symptoms regarding UTI too.
How long we can continue to give anti pyretic medication along with Antibiotics. Todays is 5 th Day there has been no much improvement.

Anti-pyretic medications are for reducing fever; Antibiotics are given to treat the bacterial infection. Can you please provide results of test done for typhoid and urine testing and antibiotics your daughter is receiving currently.
Some antibiotics have broad-spectrum bacterial coverage and single medication can treat UTI and typhoid. However, we are not sure of which antibiotics your daughter is receiving. Also, please note, some infections are drug-resistant and particular antibiotics doesn't work well; and for higher typhoid level, it may take little longer to control the symptoms. Please visit your pediatrician if there is no improvement who might do further testing & rule out other causes and consider revising the antibiotics.
