How Long To Continue Prescribed Montovent-LC For Cold And Is There Any Side Effect?

Hello Doctor,
I am 45 year lady. For the past 2-3 months, I am suffering from cold which gets aggravated in the night. My doctor has prescribed Montovent - LC which I am taking for the past 3-4 days. How long do I have to continue with this. Are there any side effects? Although I have immense relief, my cold is not gone yet as my nose gets blocked in the night and I can feel the flem inside me. Please advise. Thanks & regards.

I really appreciate your concern cold is self limiting condition and does not required any medicine if symptoms are not severe, now you have taken the treatment for this, so no more medicine now, least concern whether you have benefitted with the drug or not but you can stop taking it now, your cold will come around soon, hope this information helps you have good day.
