How Long Will A Sore Throat Take To Cure By Itself?

I ve had a sore throat since Friday, May 22nd. The last three days I haven t been able to taste what I eat. I m thinking it s allergies (never had any before) or sinus drainage. It s concerns me that it s lasted this long. How long should I let it go before getting it checked out? Thank you.

I have read your query and understand your concern as far as sore throat is concerned this can be due to strep throat or tonsilitis . For this I will suggest you to consult ENT surgeon for clinical examination and investigations if needed . Inmeantime do warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day and you can take medicine like Azithromycin or cefixime by consulting with local doctor .
