How Long Will Cough And Wheezing Take To Subside?

my son had a nissen fundoplication three months ago due to severe reflux and esophagitis. He still has a barking cough and wheezing. How long will it take for the wheezing and cough to dissapear? It has improved and he is eating and sleeping much much better. He is 18 months old

Hi... coughing and wheezing in this season could be because of the ambient temperature and seasonal changes. Depending upon the severity the cough and wheeze, it may take a week or 2 weeks to settle completely.

But if your kid is having recurrent symptoms, probably, he will require inhaled corticosteroids in the form of metered dose inhalers to keep these symptoms completely subdued.
