How Long Will Dizzy Spells Continue When Cymbalta Is Not Being Administered?
HI, So I have been taking Cymbalta for about 6 years. I went to pick up my rx and well not sure what happened with my insurance but it didn t cover and I don t have t the 250 to pick it up. so it has been five days and I am still getting dizzy spells and I am not going to be able to get my rx until next month. how long are the dizzy spells going to continue? been so long since I have been taking them am a little scared about how this month is going to go.

Cymbalta contain Duloxetine which is used for long term management of anxiety and depression. It should not be stopped suddenly due to risk of withdrawal symptoms like you are experiencing.
In case of anticipated insurance and financial problem you should have tapered its doses over a period of 3-4 weeks.
Now withdrawal can last for 1-2 weeks, but same time there may be reemergence of anxiety and depressive symptoms. It is better to meet physician with financial help from family/friends.

You have to consult your doctor for tapering the dose and then to stop.
