How Long Will It Take The Lump?

hi, my 10 year old son bumped his head yesterday and has a huge egg on the front forhead. he feels fine and is acting normal. the lump is still ther today but no bruising. is this normal? for how long should i expect to see the lump before it reduces in size. ?
The nurse at school said took care of him and told me no sport for 24 hrs. its now 24 hrs and he is fine except for the huge lump.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern, but if your son has no problems, like dizzines, nausea, vomitting, headache, problems with his vision, talking, walkin, than there is no reason to be worried.
The lump will probably vanish in a weak. If you see any symptoms mentioned above, than visit your GP immediately, but if everything is normal than there is no reason for fear.

I hope this answer was helpful to you.
