How Long Will It Take To Heal Dislocated Finger?

Hello, I've dislocated my pinky finger about 6 weeks ago(playing basketball) and it is still a little swollen and I can not fully make a fist with it, nor bend it All the way back by itself. Is this a normal amount of time for it to be healing? Is there anything I should be doing for it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, there is residual immobility left behind. You are expected to have physiotherapy, for complete range of movement.
I advise you to consult a physiotherapist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms nuerotropic injections for 10 consecutive days and then periodically. supplements of calcium, vitamin D, and pain killers when needed.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods to have a free range of movements.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
