General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Cement injection in the spine is called vertebroplasty there are many reasons for injecting cement into vertebral body most common among them are vertebral compression fracture.

It's a procedure which involves around the timing of 1 hour to 2 hours and recovery will occur within 6 to 8 weeks repetitive MRI was done by your doctor to confirm the amount of fracture in particular vertebra.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
