How Long Will It Take With The Withdrawal Effect From Tramadol?

i have been on tramadol for 7 years now, after a hip replacement. i stoped taking it 2 weeks ago, as i think i am addictive to it and really don t have any pains. however i am feeling very lightheaded, most of the day, very tired and unable to function as well as i usually do. i am 84 and usually function much better than this. everything is an effort what to do? and how long will it take to recover?

2 weeks or never. sorry, I have literally dozens of people in whom it is never.

The drug goes out of your system in a day. The withdrawal starts 1 to 3 days after and stays for 2 weeks at the most.
Howver, 1 in 20 people get ENERGY from narcotics. 19 in 20 get pain relief from them. If they dont' take them, they do not get these effects because the drug did it. Getting pain relief and energy and feeling REALLY GOOD from a narcotic are strong risks for not being able to stop taking them. This is not easy to fix. Counseling and physical therapy are pretty helpful--especially the physical therapy.
