How Long Will Painful Rash On Stitches Post Childbirth Take To Heal?
Mine was normal delivery and have dissolvable stitches. After 20 days of delivery the stiches didnt go and i have pain so dr took away the stitches. Then after few days there was pain on rash in stitch and something was coming out from there .dr give me antibiotics and told me that my body have stitch allergy so body is rejecting the internal stitches. Is it true? How long it will take to completely heal the wound

Hi,
As you had normal delivery I think stitches might be due to episiotomy during labor.
There might be having some infection on the part due to part remained unclean due to its position producing some infection.
Now as antibiotic medicine given, within few days infection will be alright.
Go for proper dressing with antibiotic cream after proper cleaning.
