How Long Will The Cough Continue Post Taking Treatment For Pneumonia?

Hi,i got community acquired pneumonia,my antibiotic course is complete ,still I got cough( not frequent) which sometime continuous for 1-1.5 hours(this episode is once in a day), making me restless.I don t have any other symptoms now. How long it takes to get recovery from cough.

As you had suffered from community acquired pneumonia it will take some time to get rid off completely from the problem of cough that you are facing. As you had completed the course of antibiotic you need not to worry much just take syrup ambrodil-s or syrup respital-p 2 tsf three times daily for cough along with tab montair-LC or tab allegra-M once daily at night. You can also take some multivitamin like tab supradyn once daily preferably in afternoon. You will be fine within 5-7 days no need to think much on that.
