How Long Will Verapamil Stay In The System After Being Off From It?
I have been taking verapamil 120mg 2X daily for 7 years. I have a new cardiologist and he has taken me off verapamil. This just took place a few days ago. I am now taking Coreg 12.5 mg 2X daily. My question is, how long will the verapamil stay in my system? 1 day? 2 days? Thanks

A drug gets removed from our body in 4-5 half lives.Verapamil has a half life of 5-12 hours(differs among individuals).So it will take a maximum of 60 hours,to get it cleared.
