Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

You need to stay in touch with your treating doctor for review of test result and monitor the treatment. As long as the tests are positive, you are infectious and need to undergo treatment with antibiotics.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
