How Many Contraceptive Pills To Be Taken While Sexually Active?
Dear Doctor, I am a virgin and planning to have sex with a friend of mine for the first time. As he will use condoms but to be safer I have decided to take contraceptive pills. Please tell me how many pills should be taken if we have sex twice a day. Is it necessary to continue the pills for a month if we have sex twice or thrice in two days and would never have sex again.

Understand your concern
Yes you can use contraceptive pill for preventing the pregnancy. But it should be used with in 72 hour after sexual intercourse.
You have to take 4 tablet as early as possible or with in 72 hours with in sexual intercourse and another 4 tablet after 12 hour for effective contraception.
You can use only once time and do not use for whole month.
If you have to use regularly as contraception then you have to start the pack from the first day of menstrual cycle.
Better to use emergency contraception like I pill/Unwanted 72 to prevent the pregnancy with in 72 hour after sex.
But chance of pregnancy is less as condom was used.
