How Much Folic Acid Supplement Can Be Taken During Pregnancy?

I want to know am taking 1 sachet of inofolic (200 micrograms folic acid) and 1 tablet of gnc 400mcg folic acid per day, I m currently 5 weeks pregnant, is this amount of folic acid to much, because I also get folic acid with my food intake like a banana every day and spinach and broccoli. Can it be harmful to my baby?

Thank you for trusting HCM

You need to take only 400 mcg of folic acid per day during pregnancy. Continue the 400 mcg folic acid tablets.
In some high-risk women, up to 5 mg folic acid per day is required.
The risk factors include
you, your partner, or someone in you or your partner's family, have a neural tube defect such as spina bifida
Previous pregnancy affected by a neural tube defect
you have coeliac disease (or other malabsorption state)
diabetic, sickle-cell anemia or you are taking certain antiepileptic medicines.
