How much oral epsom salts is dangerous if you have low blood pressure normally? How much oral epsom salts is dangerous if you have low blood pressure normally?
The thing is salt is already there in the food we eat even if don't add any salt. The American Heart Association used to recommend eating no more than 4000 mg of salt daily. Now, they only recommend us eating about 3000 mg of salt a day, which is roughly about 1 and 1/2 teaspoons per day. That's it.
I'm sure we average a lot more than that ( as even eating just one ounce of tortilla chips (without salsa) puts us at roughly 2400 mg of our daily allowance.
It doesn't matter which kind of salt, common salt or epsom salt,it's all inorganic salts and counts as the same.
