how much unhealthy habits will it take to get diabetes? for example if i drink 15 bottles of ginger ale in a week, it's only this week that this has been done, that isn't my regular habit. will i get diabetes right away? by the way i'm only 15 and i'm a perfectly healthy, normal weight, but not a very active boy. however i've gone into a total paranoia about may this or that have me getting diabetes, it's a scary thing for me.
oh yeah by the way no one in my families has diabetes- 0 . my grandma is the only one who has it. and she is 84, and incase anyone ask she is perfectly healthy after changing her eating habits and hasn't need to have body parts ampuutated or any of the horrible stuff related to this really tragic and sad disease. and the thing that small habits will get big, i don't think so. i have 6 ginger ales left outta the 15 i bought and after that supply finishes i vow to not touch a cold drink, i'll drink it only in weekends
by the way in regards to if race is a factor in getting diabetes- i'm a black african
and no after i drink soda i don't have hypoglycemic symptoms of any sort. i have no excessive urination or anything .
