How Often Should I Take The Medicine?

I had the contraceptive implant put in at the end of november and keep having a period one week and then off the next ever since. I have been presecribed Norethisterone and been told to take once a day. How often should I take it? The whole month, just a few days?

Hello,

I would aay that you should use combine oral contraceptive pills containing estrogen and progesterone but there are no use using norethistrone as contraceptive pills. it can be use ro delay periods but contraceptive failure rate is high alone. Implant was also good option.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
