OTITIS MEDIA FLUID IF CONTAIN PUS AND BLOOD IN ADVANCED CASE THEN MAY CAUSE HIV BUT SMALL THIN FLUID USUALLY DOENOT CONTAIN SO MUCH VIRUS AS IT MAY SPREAD TO YOU AS SALIVE BUT TAKE PRECAUTION TO AVOID CONTAMINATION.

Welcome to HCM.
Otitis media is a bacterial infection and not viral.
If the person is HIV Positive, then you have to be careful since all body fluids could possibly be contaminated with blood and may contain the virus.
If the person is HIV Positive and you have come in contact with discharge from his ear, it would be safer that you consult a physician immediately so that if necessary anti HIV injection could be administered.
