How Safe And Effective Is Nitro Spray For Angina?

I had a widowmaker heart attack this past dec. The short of it was I had to go back 3 times for 3 added stents. I use nitro spray to help with the angina . I was told I can go back to work in sept. I am a teacher in nyc. What am I really looking at in longevity?

Dear I can understand your concern .
You are diagnosed with ischemic heart disease and taking nitrates for pain.
I would like to inform you that nitrates are just beneficial in managing symptoms such as chest discomfort . They have no mortality benefits.
You need complete treatment of coronary artery disease . This must include
1.beta blocker
2 . ACE inhibitors
3.antiplatelets
4.statins.
If no contraindication exits.
So please discus about this with your physician . And make sure you are taking all these medicines .inhinf still you have chest pain then nitrates cam be added to it.
