How Safe And Effective Is Taking Paroxetine For Panic Attacks ?

I take Paroxetine daily to prevent panic attacks. I am fighting a nasty cough/cold. Would Mucinex Sinus-Max Day Night interact with my paroxentine? I've been told I cannot take most cold medications because of the side effects with the paroxetine. Please advise. Thank you!

You can take cold medication with paroxetine. Cold medicines usually contain pseudoephedrine and with that, there are chances of high blood pressure or anxiety symptoms. These side effects happen at higher dosage, so better to take cold medicine in safer dose.
