My Doctor gave me samples of Silenor, he knows I have a very hard time sleeping. Said if it did no good first night said it was safe to add plsranch@ 10mg Ambien, that did no good for last two nights. was researching to see if would be safe to add Xanax ?
Ambien and Xanax, when taken together can cause increased drowsiness, dizziness, impaired memory especially in elderly. There is no contraindication for taking these medications together. However, caution should be taken in taking only the prescribed dose of medication and monitor side effects closely. Any activity requiring high level of alertness like handling machinery, driving etc should be avoided.
Hope I was able to help you Please address further concerns Regards, Dr.Lekshmi
