How Safe Is Taking Althea Pills ?
hi doc i just want to ask, im taking althea pills and last friday i should take my another pack but i may not able to do it.. but its already sunday today and i plan to take it even its more than 7 days free pill period.. is it still ok to continue? is it still safe?

Hi, thanks for using HCM.
Althea pill are effective in providing contaception. if you are using 28 day pill need to start next pack immediately once you finish your first pack last pill.
As you have missed pill for more than 7 days need to use other methods of contraception in this cycle for protection like barrier method.
Start your next pack and try to take regularly on same time daily.
