How Safe Is Taking Amoxicillin For Sinus Infection?
Had a tooth pulled about 4 years ago, ever since and every winter I get a nasty sinus infection that is somehow related because I can feel air threw the hole, it seems to open up, the smell is horrible and I know it has to be related. Went to the dentist he said I cannot find any hole but when it is really cold out I can close my mouth and push air up in hole which feels like it leads right to sinuses.I am back on amoxicillin because it is infected, the drainage is overwhelming and taste so nasty.Need help.

It seems that you might be having chronic sinusitis and now it might have filled up with infective exudates.
Go for x-ray PNS ( para Nasal Sinuses ) to know the condition of sinuses.
Meanwhile you can continue with Amoxicilin.
Do vicks vapor inhalation.
Ok and take care.
