How Safe Is Taking Microgynon 30 For Delay In Periods?

I am taking microgynon 30 and I want to delay my next period by running two packs together and not taking the usual 7 day break. I have already done this a couple of times in the past year as I was travelling and I have heard that it is unwise to do this more than I think three times a year. Is this true and what are the associated risks please? Many thanks.
