I have an acne problem which has been since quite some time, my doc prescribed me Minoz OD 100 which I took for nearly 3 months, I am getting conscious about taking so much of pills, can this be harmful to my health please advice. Also what should be the way ahead.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne on face which occur when there is clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Your doctor prescribed you Minoz 100 mg OD which is good for acne except it can cause stomach upset so you should take small meals at a time and avoid large meals. I would suggest you to avoid oily and fried food and make use of product containing benzoyl peroxide. Take Multivitamin supplements. Apply Adapelene gel once at night. Drink plenty of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course and can also go for chemical peel containing Glycolic acid.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
