I had a D & C for a missed miscarriage 4 weeks ago. As I have PCOS I was put on Primolut N 5mg (to get my first cycle to help line the uterus, so we can then start trying to conceive again the next cycle) with a dosage of 3 tablets a day for 10 days. How long after stopping Primolut N 5mg (3 tablets a day) should I expect the withdrawal bleed to commence? It has been 3 days and I have had a very small amount of brown and red spotting on day 2 but nothing since. I would like to know when I should contact my doctor if the bleeding does not start? Also if I was pregnant (highly unlikely I would think) are there any known side effects of taking this drug very early in pregnancy?
