How Safe Is To Take Amoxicillin And Cipro Together?

Can i take two anti biotics at the same time\/ I have a sinus infection and I'm on Amoxicilln 500, and I just got a UTI/ bladder infection and want to take Cipro 1000. I have chronic infection in both places, I'm on vacation and Dr sent along Cipro just in case, but I'm not done with Amoxicilln yet?
