How Safe Is Using Miconazole For Rash On Penis ?

I took Diflucan for penile thrush that was subscribed from a doc 3 days ago. All my symptoms have gone away except my rash. Today I applied Miconazole onto the rash. I then experienced a white discharge from my penis. Is this a normal or should I be concern?
