How Safe It To Have A Stent In The Widow Maker?

Yes thank you, my husband had a stent in the widow maker last march, it is a medicated stent , he is 62, very active, is taking plavik, colesteral, etc meds, what is his prognosis He is an avid tennis player, and it very good shape the stent was performed at the Cleveland Clinic YYYY@YYYY

The prognosis is not dependent upon the life of stent, it depends on the development of collaterals. Since he is a sportsperson so I would anticipate good prognosis for him. But still, I would suggest a regular cardiac checkup with his doctor.
