I injected mcat for the very first time last night and my arm has become very red and bruised and my vain looks dark and Im very concerned. I will never be doing this again. Will I be ok I did it twice in the same vain in different spots. I don t want my doctor to know or my family how stupid Iv been

Hi, I dont think it will trouble for long. But with repeated punctures it can get thrombosed or blocked and cause problems. The present episode should get relieved over the next few days to weeks. if it is very painful you can do warm water foamentation and apply some Heparin ointment. If the pain is severe, you can take pain medicines for the time being. Please refrain from such misadventures in the future. Take care, Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
