Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
Two things we need to get clear about-
1. your sugars dropped after a "big" meal. So obviously the sugars must have been much lower. Had you not had that big meal, the sugars may have dropped further down, This means that the medicines you are taking are high, and need to be reduced. In fact 120 is almost too good a control.
2. The sugars have shot up due to the body's response to the low sugars. They will return to normal. Just keep taking your medicines.
However in view of your
hypoglycemia episode, a visit to your diabetician is warranted.
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.
